This design is inspired by a vintage optometrist sign from Tel Aviv—Ha’ayin at 34 Nahalat Binyamin, founded in 1924 and among the city’s earliest of its kind. With bold Hebrew lettering, a hand-painted eye, and clean geometry, it reflects early modernist, Bauhaus-influenced signage from 1920s–30s Tel Aviv. I’ve always been drawn to that era for its simplicity and clarity of line—design that communicates everything without excess—so I translated it into this vintage-style ringer tee. The eye also carries deeper meaning across the Middle East as a symbol of protection—old sign, deep meaning.
